A 300 sqft store and occasional gallery designed for Tiipoi, a brand based between London and Bangalore.

The project involved transforming a standalone heritage stationery store in the heart of Bangalore into a concept store and gallery space.

The client envisioned a minimalist space that would also serve as a gallery, displaying products from Indian artists and brands with a shared aesthetic. The challenge was designing a neutral yet striking "shell" that would showcase a variety of designs, allowing each piece to stand out on its own. A special corner was dedicated to celebrate the client's love for Longpi crafts.

The design centered on clean geometric lines, forming a grid system that established the store's visual identity. This grid pattern was repeated across materials—tiles, metal grids, and mesh boxes—to create a tactile and visual rhythm. Muted grey concrete was used across the walls, floor, and ceiling, providing a raw and textured backdrop. A vibrant red accent was introduced to contrast the minimal palette, serving as the store's signature pop of color.

A Multi-level display strategy ensured every product was showcased effectively, contributing to an inviting and dynamic retail experience.

The Island table created visual breaks, reducing clutter and allowing for varied objects to be displayed cohesively, while the Suspended Shelves mounted on the back wall, showcased each product individually, creating a refined, organized display that allowed every item to stand out.

The red accent extended seamlessly from the interiors to the façade, creating continuity and catching the attention of fast-moving vehicles on the busy road. A glass façade maximized visibility, offering passersby a clear view of the curated objects within. Floor Displays positioned near the glass façade, provide a striking first impression of the seasonal collection.

The final space is a seamless blend of functionality and modern minimalism, designed as a thoughtfully curated and visually engaging environment. It serves as a versatile framework—one that allows products to be displayed collectively while giving each its own distinct space. The space acts as a plain canvas, letting the products take center stage.
